Christina Flaaen

​

Christina is an Arizona native. Growing up, she thought about pursuing a variety of professions: ballerina, teacher, writer, and meteorologist. However, that all changed at the age of 10 when she discovered Lucille Ball and, subsequently, the entertainment industry.

 

Inspired, Christina decided to pursue video production (both the creative and business sides) as a career and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2012.

 

Christina has over 11 years of experience in the media industry, having gotten her start while interning and then volunteering for several years with the City of Phoenix's government television station, PHX11/PHXTV. There, she served in such roles as researcher/writer, on-air host/voice over talent, videographer, and editor.

 

Christina has also performed freelance media services over the past several years. As a freelancer, she's primarily done video editing work, but has also provided videography/camera operator, voice over, transcription, and production/event assistant services. 

 

Some of Christina's other experiences have included volunteering with the Arizona Humane Society Thrift Store, working in the Public Information section of the City of Phoenix Public Transit Department, and assisting with the Dennis Rowland Benefit Concert.  
 
Christina enjoys traveling, watching TV, reading, studying the weather, and spending time with her cat, Scout.

 

For Christina, Christina Flaaen Media, LLC is a dream of nearly 20 years finally coming to fruition. She is forever grateful for the support of her family and friends over the years.
